I’m a software engineer who enjoys working on software that enables the power of intelligent machines, ranging from control algorithms on robots that introduce agile motions to AI that brings us adaptive behaviors and complex reasoning. Fundamentally, I love solving applied mathematics, physics, and software problems.

I first studied electrical engineering (like electrical machines and systems, circuits and power electronics, etc.) and embedded systems. While on the university robot team, I worked on a quadruped robot project and had a glance at robot modeling and control. It turns out that such study experience helped me succeed in the surgical robot field after I graduated. Now, I am studying data science to learn how to utilize data to make intelligent decisions.

Beyond engineering, I also enjoy photography, watching movies, performing arts, and reading literature and poetry. Here’s my favorite quote from the film Dead Poets Society.
